PR2M duel injection pumps

The PR type fuel injection pumps are singel - and two-cylinder pumps without proper camshhaft with a special housing, which is almost entirely built-in into the cylinder block od Diesel engine.

They are manufactured in sizes K, M, A charakterized by the different amounts of fuel delivered per one stroke on plunger. All the important connecting and control elements are fitted on the protruding top part of the pumps body. The size "M" and "A" are made as a single - and two- cylinder, the size K as a single- and four-cylinder pumps. The body of the size "M" and "A" is the cast of high-grade aluminium alloy, the body of the size "K" is the cast of high-grade cast iron.

The body houses the barrel with up and down moving plunger the top part of which is provided by the regulating edge. The working space of the plunger is closed by the delivery valve. The whole highpressure space closed the pipe union neck with a screwed delivery pipe connecting the fuel injection pump and the injector.The fuel working stroke of plunger is caused by the camshaft movement.

The rotary movement of the camshaft is transmitted to the pump plunger by a roller tappet which is the part of the plunger. The advantage of this technical solution is absence of roller tappet mechanism of pump the minimalization of dimensions and the design improvement at all. The return i.c. downward movement of the plunger and thus also of roller tappet is effected by the plunger spring. The fuel delivery is controlled by the angular displacement of the plunger. The rotary movement of the plunger is derived from the regulating bar acting on the plunger control sleeve.

The surface finish of the built in fuel injection pumps enables the using in difficult climatic conditions as well. Their modern design long service life and the reliability by the exploitation are characteristic properties of the PR type fuel injection pumps.
